Role Definition:
We are looking for a Techno-Functional Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in technical configuration, product understanding, and system integrations, with a long-term goal of transitioning into a Project/Product Manager role. This role requires hands-on involvement in analyzing, configuring, testing, and documenting product capabilities, ensuring seamless system integration before moving towards business process optimization.
1) Primary Responsibilities:
Technical Responsibilities:
- Understand technical configurations of the product and ensure accurate implementation.
- Gather and analyze technical and system integration requirements from clients.
- Read and interpret project requirement documents to identify necessary implementations.
- Conduct gap analysis between systems & APIs and recommend integration solutions.
- Test APIs, analyze responses, and document functional specifications (FSD).
- Create and maintain technical integration documents with flowcharts and system diagrams.
- Evaluate technical documentation, product architecture, and system workflows.
- Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth feature releases.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Assist in translating technical insights into business requirements for stakeholders.
- Document functional workflows and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Support business teams in understanding product capabilities and system behaviors.
- Manage and process change requests from clients effectively.
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Product Managers, and BA team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure all documentation meets enterprise-level quality standards and is well-structured for stakeholder approvals.
- Gradually transition into a full-fledged Business Analyst role, taking ownership of business process optimizations.
2) Skills Required:
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of SaaS product development and its technology stacks (e.g., JavaScript, CSS, Java, NGINX, MySQL, MongoDB, microservices, APIs).
- Hands-on experience in API testing, web services, and system integrations.
- Knowledge of networking and internet protocols.
- Strong skills in data manipulation and analysis (Excel, Google Sheets, SQL preferred).
Business & Analytical Skills:
- Exceptional requirement-gathering, gap analysis, and documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders effectively.
- Strong verbal and email communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing project needs and business strategies.
- Exposure to BFSI/FinTech/RegTech domains is a plus.
