Technical Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in manual and automation testing
- Strong knowledge of API testing methodologies
- Proficiency in testing tools: Postman, Apache JMeter, Karate
- Understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, and web protocols
- Basic programming knowledge in Python or JavaScript. (Optional)
- Experience with mobile (Android/iOS) and web application testing
- Knowledge of SQL and NO-SQL database testing concepts
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to understand testing scope
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scenarios for web applications, mobile apps, and APIs
- Execute manual and automated test cases across multiple platforms and environments
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
API & Performance Testing:
- Conduct thorough API testing using tools like Postman and Apache JMeter
- Validate API responses, status codes, and data integrity
- Perform performance testing to ensure system scalability
- Test authentication and authorization mechanisms for financial APIs
Specialized Testing for Fintech Domain:
- Test identity verification workflows and KYC/KYB processes
- Test fraud detection algorithms and compliance monitoring systems
- Ensure security standards are met for financial data processing
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand ups, and retrospectives
- Provide clear and detailed test reports and status updates
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders about quality metrics and risks
